A person who works in our building got fired recently. When I got the scoop on why, I determined he was begging to be fired by his actions.
Here's what happened:
He was scheduled to attend a 2 day training in a city 2 hours away. He took a company vehicle and went, and he cashed his per diem check. The problem? The training was cancelled well in advance. So where was he for those two days, and what was he doing? Working towards being unemployed apparently.
