Life Lesson From LinkedIn

One of my connections on LinkedIn recently "liked" this image. As soon as I saw it, I had to "like" it as well. I printed it out and posted it at my desk.

A loyal person

Other than the grammatical issue of "person" being singular and "they" being singular, it is so accurate. I have been on the receiving end of this myself, and I've seen it happen to others. It has no good outcome for the person doing the pushing. Managers and employers sometimes think they hold all the cards, but a disgruntled employee can hurt you in more ways than you can possibly imagine, both intentionally and unintentionally. An employee who is "done" with you is in the driver's seat and knows it.
