Saturday I made a skillet cookie for Mother's Day. Since the oven was already hot, I figured it'd be a good time to try another recipe I'd been wanting to make. People magazine recently showcased a homemade granola that sounded tasty, so I whipped it together. As often occurs when I bake, I made some substitutions based on what I had on hand and my personal taste preferences. Here is the final result:
It's great in served with yogurt for breakfast. Unfortunately I can't find the recipe online, but I'll be happy to e-mail it to you if you'd like.
