Are you familiar with the song "Love is in the air"? Well, I am officially changing it to "Job searching is in the air." All of the below have happened in the last week.
1. Current coworker #1's husband went on his first job interview in 10 years. He's finally tired of being paid about 1/2 market rate for his skill set and is putting himself out there to find a new job.
2. Current coworker #2 has a job interview this week.
3. Previous coworker from last job is in what appears to be final round consideration for a job with a fantastic well known company. They've already done background and references checks, and she had a lunch meeting with manager this week. I'm very excited for her.
4. On a personal note, I've had three responses to jobs to which I've applied.
Yes, indeed, job searching is in the air!
