It's amazing how the little things in life can bring us such joy. I had an experience that reminded me of that recently.
My red Christmas cactus bloomed before Christmas. My white one had nothing. I wondered what I had done. Too much water? Not enough? Or was it just being finicky? About a week and a half ago I noticed what appeared to be a blossom on the white one. Sure enough, a few days later I was sure it was indeed a blossom. I was so thrilled.
Did I have anything to do with it blooming? Beyond watering it when need, not a thing. It's just something in the natural world that brings me great happiness.
